Man arrested for public lewdness at local rest stop (County Sheriff’s Blotter)

A man was arrested on Wednesday for public lewdness at a local rest stop, according to a report.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that officers received a “disorderly male” complaint at the Preble rest stop on Interstate-81.

According to the report, Steven P. Sullivan, 59, of the town of Pennellville, was located “unclothed” inside his vehicle. The report noted that Sullivan was watching “indecent material” and “exposing himself” in a public area.

Charged with public lewdness, Sullivan was processed, released and now scheduled to appear in Preble town court on Nov. 28.

 

Brandi L. Henry and Lawrence A. Nemecek

Henry, 35, of Cuyler and Nemecek, 33, of Cortlandville, were both arrested last Friday (Nov. 3).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Henry and Nemecek stole merchandise from the Speedway store and gas station on Route 11 in Cortlandville.

Henry and Nemecek were both charged with petit larceny (a Class-A Misdemeanor) and sixth-degree conspiracy (a Class-B Misdemeanor). Both were processed, released and now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on Nov. 20.
