Intersection closed in Cortland

An intersection in the city of Cortland will be closed due to installation projects.

According to Crown City Rising, the intersection of Groton Avenue and Homer Avenue will be closed on Friday (Nov. 10). The intersection of Pleasant Street and Groton Avenue will also be closed.

Construction crews are continuing to install sanitary sewer mains on Groton Avenue. Crews will also be installing sanitary sewer mains from the intersection of Pleasant Street through the intersection of Homer Avenue.

Drivers are encouraged to utilize the Madison Avenue detour route. Businesses between Main Street and Monroe Heights are accessible via Groton Avenue from Main Street.

This work will continue on Monday (Nov. 13).
