County Sheriff’s office investigating burglary at local business; public assistance requested

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that took place at a local business in October, according to a report.

The report stated that on Oct. 9, officers responded to a burglary investigation at Ted McBride Company in the town of Cortlandville. According to the report, items were stolen from the business.

According to the report, the burglary occurred during the overnight hours between Oct. 8 and Oct. 9.

The county sheriff’s office is requesting assistance from anyone who has information on the burglary, or anyone who would be able to identify the suspect in the photos below. The report noted that the suspect is described as wearing a camouflage jacket, a backpack, a face bandana, reflective glasses and a knit hat.
