Today will be quieter than yesterday was and quieter than tomorrow will be. But it will not be completely tranquil.

The best chance for a few stray rain showers will come during the morning hours. The rain should remain scattered, though areas of drizzle will also be possible between any showers.

During the afternoon, some rain showers or drizzle will still be possible, but less so. If the sun manages to peak through the overcast at all, it will probably happen during the afternoon.

Winds will be light from the south this morning with speeds around 5 mph. The afternoon wind will become light and variable, if not calm at times.

It will be on the warmer side, with afternoon highs in the upper 40s and low 50s.

There will be little change overnight with cloudy skies, an occasional passing shower, and some spits of drizzle. Winds will remain light to calm.

Evening temperatures will slowly back through the 40s with an overnight low just under 40 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Morning rain showers turning to steadier afternoon rain. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 40s.

Monday: Cloudy with a few rain or snow showers, especially early. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs around 40 degrees.

Tuesday: Maybe an early flurry. Otherwise, more clouds than sun. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs near 30 degrees.
