A man allegedly stole money from a former employer, according to a Cortland County Sheriff’s report.
The report stated that Joshua M. Price, 25 of Marathon, allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money when he was an employee at the Real Deals Dollar Store at 3650 Rt. 281 in the town of Cortlandville. The report added that the larceny investigation began on Nov. 3.
According to the report, on Nov. 29, county sheriff’s officers conducted a traffic stop for Price and arrested him on a warrant. Price is facing charges of third-degree grand larceny (a Class-D Felony) and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class-A Misdemeanor).
Price was arraigned, processed and sent to Cortland County Jail. He is due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court at later dates.
