The Homer Trojans started their season off with a 1-0 record after winning 44-35 against OnTech Charter at Homer high school Tuesday night.
The Trojans took control of the game early in the game, as they outscored OnTech Charter 13-2 in the opening quarter.
OnTech Charter picked themselves back up as they scored 13 points in the second quarter. Homer had a 21-15 lead at halftime.
The second half turned into a back and forth battle, but the Trojans’ defense kept their composure to come out victorious.
