Cortland officials honor longtime consultant to the city

Cortland officials and former mayors honored a longtime consultant to the city on Tuesday.

Linda Armstrong, program manager at Thoma Development Consultants, is retiring after more than 40 years of work on behalf of the city of Cortland. Armstrong assisted and advised city officials past and present on a variety of projects that spanned across four decades.

City mayor Scott Steve – along with former mayors Ron Walsh (1992-99), Bruce Tytler (2000-01) and Tom Gallagher (2004-09) – honored Armstrong with a plaque and a proclamation.
