A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after getting into a car accident, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that Richard A. Moore, 42 of Cortland, was involved in a single car accident on Route 13 in the town of Homer. According to the report, was driving while intoxicated and traveled off the roadway.
Along with his DWI charge, Moore was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, aggravated driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable and prudent, unlicensed operator and for driving across hazard markings.
Moore was released with traffic tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Homer town court on Jan. 16.
