A cold front will approach from the north today but will not move through until the overnight hours.

Out ahead of the front, a few lake effect flurries off Lake Erie will be possible. These will be most likely during the morning. No accumulation is expected.

Otherwise, it will be another cloudy day with few, if any, glimpses of sunshine.

Winds will start from the west but will become more southwesterly as the morning turns to afternoon. Wind speeds will be around or just over 5 mph.

The wind will stay out of the southwest most of the night but will turn sharply to the northwest before sunrise as the front moves through.

Just ahead of the front, snow showers will increase through the evening and especially after midnight. A coating of accumulation will be possible by Thursday morning.

Temperatures will rise to the mid 30s this afternoon with some low 30s in higher elevations. Tonight, low 30s will dominate the evening with mid 20s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Morning snow showers. Maybe a little late sun. Breezy. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs around 30 degrees.

Friday: A mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs around 30 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Perhaps some snow in the evening and overnight. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.
