A man who was found with child pornography images received 10 years of probation on Thursday at Cortland County Court.
Mason L. Kneedler, of Cortlandville, pled guilty to five counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, which are all Class-E felonies. Kneedler submitted his guilty plea on Sept. 28.
Kneedler was arrested and charged on June 16, 2022. Court documents stated that on Feb. 10, 2021, Kneedler “intentionally and knowingly” committed the felonies on multiple electronics, noting his possession on any performance that includes “sexual conduct by a child less than 16 years of age.”
According to court documents, authorities discovered 848 images of “child sexual abuse material” on Kneedler’s cell phone. Court docs stated that Kneedler was also found with 410 images of “child exploitative material” and 34 images of “child bestiality abuse material.”
Kneedler waived his right to appeal the sentencing.
