The Village of Homer Board of Trustees unanimously approved its 2024-25 budget at its meeting on Tuesday.
Homer’s budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year, which totals to $5,433,785, includes a 20% increase in spending but a property tax levy that is less than 1%.
General fund expenditures are at $4,370,041, with the water fund at $397,750 and the sewer fund totaling to $665,994. A breakdown of the village’s 2024-25 budget can be found here.
