A man refused a breathalyzer test after getting into an accident, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that Leslie W. Shine was in a motor vehicle accident on East River Road in the town of Homer during the late-evening hours of Wednesday (Jan. 10).
According to the report, officers discovered that Shine was in an “intoxicated state.”
Shine was charged with driving while intoxicated and for the refusal of a breath screening test (both violations). He was arraigned, released and now due to appear in Homer town court on Feb. 6.
