A weak weather system will slide through the area today with some light snow.

The snow will be most plentiful during the morning and early afternoon hours. During the mid to late afternoon, the snow should dissipate to a few flurries.

Accumulations are expected to be light, with most places seeing just an inch or two of fluff.

Temperatures will rise into the mid 20s this afternoon. Southwest winds will blow at up to 10 mph with a few gusts just over 20 mph.

Tonight, quiet but cloudy conditions are expected. A stray flurry cannot be ruled out.

Evening temperatures will slowly drop through the 20s and into the upper 10s. Overnight lows will make it to the mid 10s.

A new area of snow will build in during the predawn hours and continue into Friday morning. This may make the morning commute a bit slick.
