High pressure will slide into the area today bringing quiet weather conditions.
A northerly flow of cool air over Lake Ontario will keep clouds in place this morning. However, between high pressure, dry air, and weakening winds, the clouds should break up this afternoon.
By the end of the day, skies should be quite sunny with mostly clear skies persisting into and through the overnight.
Winds will be from the north and northwest today with speeds around, or at times just above 5 mph. Tonight, the wind will become mostly calm.
Temperatures today will top out between 32-35 degrees.
Evening temperatures will quickly fall back to the mid 20s with an overnight low around 20 degrees.
