Quiet weather will continue today and for most of the coming week.

Today should be a sunny day with no precipitation. The best chance for clouds will be early in the morning, and late in the afternoon.

Any morning cloudiness will be low in the atmosphere and may blanket the sky in some areas, while the afternoon clouds will be high, thin clouds that will be scarcely noticeable.

For the most part, though, it will just be blue, sunny skies today.

A light northerly flow of air will persist, keeping temperatures down. Wind speeds will be around 5 mph.

Afternoon highs will mainly top out in the mid 30s. Temperatures will make a quick drop to the upper 20s this evening, followed by an overnight low around 20 degrees.

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with a few more passing thin clouds.

Winds during the nighttime hours will drop and should be nearly calm by Wednesday morning.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows near 20 degrees. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Friday: More clouds than sun. Scattered rain showers late. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Clouds, a little sun, and some scattered rain showers. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs near 50.
