High pressure will pass overhead today and slide eastward.

Sunshine will be plentiful this morning, though it may mix with some thin clouds high in the atmosphere at times.

Through the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will become more common. They probably will not completely overtake the sun though.

No precipitation will fall from any of the clouds.

Winds will be nearly calm today with the high pressure overhead. Only a whisper of a light and variable wind is expected.

Without the north winds of the last few days, temperatures will get a small bounce upward. Look for afternoon highs near 40 degrees in the hilltops and in the low 40s across lower elevations.

Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy. A south wind will start to develop, though it will remain light.

Evening temperatures will drop to the low and mid 30s while overnight temperatures reach the mid 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: More sun in the morning. More clouds in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 40s.

Friday: More clouds than sun. A few stray rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Clouds, a little sun, and some scattered rain showers. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy and cooler. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs near 40.
