County Sheriff’s Blotter: Larceny and drug possession

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office released a couple of arrest reports on a larceny and drug possession.

Below are the reports:

Ryan R. Larrabee

Larrabee, 34, of Cortlandville, was arrested on Thursday (Feb. 15).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Larrabee was located walking on the side of the road between Route 13 and McLean Road in Cortlandville.

According to the report, an arrest warrant for violation of probation was out on Larrabee. Once in custody, Larrabee was found with drugs in his possession. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class-A Misdemeanor).

Larrabee was processed, arraigned and released. He is set to appear in Cortlandville town court on March 4.

Jorge N. Torres and Laura E. Fassett

Torres, 35, and Fassett, 36, of Cortland, were arrested last Saturday (Feb. 10).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Torres and Fassett stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Cortlandville.

Fassett and Torres were both charged with sixth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny (misdemeanors). Both were processed, arraigned, released and now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on Feb. 26.
