Low pressure will pass by to our north today, kicking up winds and producing a few flurries.

Southwest winds will increase through the morning and peak during the afternoon. Wind speeds will end up around 15 mph with top gusts around 35 mph.

The wind will turn to the west, then northwest during the evening and overnight. It will still be a bit blustery, but not as strong. Wind gusts will max out around 25 mph overnight.

Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, but a few glimpses of sunshine cannot be ruled out. Neither can a few flurries, especially this morning and again late in the afternoon.

Snow showers will become more likely after midnight as some limited lake effect develops southeast of Lake Ontario. Some areas may see an inch or so of accumulation.

Temperatures will top out around 30 degrees today before dipping into the mid and upper 20s this evening. Overnight lows will end up near or just under 20 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: A few early clouds and flurries, then increasing sunshine. Morning lows near 20. Afternoon highs in the upper 20s.

Tuesday: Sun and some thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Wednesday: Sunshine with increasing clouds late. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a few rain showers. Morning lows in the near 30. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.
