Man in parked vehicle charged with DWI

A man sitting in a parked vehicle was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to a report.

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers observed a “potentially disabled vehicle” with its four-way hazard lights activated and parked on Tompkins Street in Cortland.

According to the report, officers determined that the driver of the vehicle – Christopher A. DeJohn, 24, of Windsor – was driving while intoxicated.

DeJohn was charged with DWI and driving while intoxicated with .08 of 1% or more of alcohol (a misdemeanor). He was released and is now due to appear in Cortland city court on March 15.
