Woman arrested for second time in a week (County Sheriff)

A woman that was arrested a week ago was arrested again on Friday (Feb. 23), according to a report.

The county sheriff’s report stated that Kathleen C. Stauber, 45, of Cortland, violated an order of protection when she communicated with a victim at a residence on Route 90 in the town of Homer.

Stauber was charged with second-degree criminal contempt (a Class-A Misdemeanor). She is due to appear in Homer town court on March 5.

Stauber was also arrested on Feb. 17 for being inside the same residence in Homer, which led to a second-degree criminal contempt charge.

Last summer, Stauber was arrested after he caused a disturbance at a residence, fled from officers and disrupted traffic. She is facing charges of second-degree obstructing governmental administration (a misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct (a violation) from that arrest.
