High pressure will pass through today, bringing quiet conditions and milder temperatures.

Sunny skies are expected for the vast majority of the daytime hours. The only substantial clouds of note will start to move in late in the day but may not arrive until after sunset.

A steady but gentle south wind will blow throughout the day. Wind speeds will be up to 10 mph with gusts around 20 mph.

The sunshine and south wind will team up to push highs about twenty degrees warmer than yesterday. Most areas should be in the mid 40s, but some upper 40s will also be possible.

Clouds will continue to move in tonight while the south wind persists. Temperatures will slowly back into 30s, reaching an overnight low near freezing.

Exactly how cold it gets will be important as some light precipitation moves in during the predawn hours.

Any areas that sneak below freezing will result in some pockets of freezing rain. Those that remain a degree or two warmer will stay plain rain.

This may result in some slick spots on the roadways early Saturday morning, mostly before sunrise.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Cloudy with showers, maybe a little early ice. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 50s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs around 60.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs around 60.
