Local areas recently announced dates for brush/leaf pickup this spring and beyond.
Spring pickup in the village of Homer will be April 1-30, while fall pickup is set for Oct. 15 through Nov. 15. The village’s compost site on North Fulton Street will open on April 1.
Brush/leaf pickup in the city of Cortland this year will take place on the following dates:
- April 8-12
- May 13-17
- June 10-14
- Oct. 14-18
The city’s department of public works will have a long debris schedule in November. Further information on the schedule and pickup will be detailed in a flier going out to city residents soon.
