An individual was arrested over the weekend for allegedly leaving a store without paying for items, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that Christopher D. Marshall, 58, of DeRuyter, allegedly “failed to render payment” at the Walmart in Cortlandville and exited the store.
Marshall was arrested on Saturday (March 16) and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. He was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on April 1.
