An individual was arrested for alleged social services fraud, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that Curtis I. Lunsford, 32, allegedly “submitted fraudulent documents” between Dec. 26-28 (2023) to the Cortland County Department of Social Services in regard to his employment.
Lunsford was arrested on Monday (March 18) and charged with two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. He will appear in Cortland city court at a later date.
