Cortland County recently announced that there will be two special legislative committee meetings this week.
Both meetings will be held on Thursday (March 28). A special finance and administration committee meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., while a special buildings and ground committee meeting is slated for 4 p.m.
The purpose of the special finance and administration meeting is to entertain a resolution to award a Microenterprise Assistance Program Grant.
The special buildings and ground meeting will include awarding a bid for the lease of 49 Grant Street, and a resolution to appoint a new superintendent of buildings and grounds.
The special meetings will take place on the same day of the monthly legislative session, which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Each meeting will take place at the county office building on Central Avenue.
