An individual was recently arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 11 and Tully Center Road in the town of Preble last Saturday (March 23).
According to the report, Desiree E. Osei, 34, of Groton, was driving a car under the influence of alcohol and caused a single car accident.
Along with Osei’s DWI charge, she was also charged with refusal of a breath screening test (violation), first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation (felony), unlicensed operator (violation) and for speed not reasonable and prudent (violation).
Osei was processed, released and is now due to appear in Preble town court on April 9.
