The City of Cortland Police Department and other law enforcement agencies are seeking information on identifying an individual linked to identity thefts, according to a report.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office recently reported that an unidentified woman has been allegedly connected to identity thefts and larcenies throughout that county.

City police also reported that several identity thefts and thefts are occurring in the Cortland area, which connects to the Broome County Sheriff’s report. Both reports noted that the investigation is ongoing.
