Overall, the weather today will be on the quiet side, though winds will pick up for this afternoon.

Northwest winds will increase through the morning and peak during the afternoon hours. Wind speeds will be around 15 mph with gusts around 35 mph.

Skies will be sunny to start and end. For much of the day, however, some fair weather clouds will mix in with the sunshine. Mostly clear skies are expected this evening and overnight with just a few stray clouds.

No precipitation will fall from any of the clouds today.

Temperatures will be a touch cooler than yesterday thanks to the increase in northwest winds. Highs will be in the low 40s over the hilltops and in the mid 40s for lower elevations.

Evening temperatures will drop back into the mid 30s and overnight lows will make it into the upper 20s.

Nighttime winds will remain from the northwest but will retreat some to around 10 mph.
