The Cortland County Highway Department announced upcoming road construction projects happening around Cortland County.
According to the Deputy Superintendent of Highways Alan Ricottilli, the upcoming road construction projects are as follow:
- Cheningo Solon Pond Road in Taylor from NY state Route 26 to Whitney road, Milling starting the week of Monday, April 8th with paving to begin the week of April 15th.
- Telephone Road in Cincinnatus from NY state Route 26 to the east 0.5 Miles, Milling starting the week of Monday, April 8th with paving to begin the week of April 15th. (The remainder of Telephone road will be paved beginning the week of May 13th from that point East of NY State Route 26 and continuing to Doran Hill Road in Taylor. This along with the paving project last year will complete the Telephone road repaving project in its entirety.)
- Telephone Road Extension in Cincinnatus from NY state Route 26 to Cincinnatus Road, Milling starting the week of Monday, April 8th with paving to begin the week of April 15th.
"All projects are weather dependent, motorists should expect delays and flaggers will be in place," stated Ricottilli.
