County Sheriff’s Blotter: DWI accident, larceny and more

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office recently released a couple of arrest reports.

Below are the reports:

Timothy B. Ritchie Jr.

Ritchie, 44, of Glen Aubrey, was arrested on Sunday (April 7).

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Lower Cincinnatus Road, south of Baldwin Corners Road, in the town of Cincinnatus during the early-morning hours on Sunday.

According to the report, Ritchie, who was involved in the accident, was allegedly driving the vehicle “while under the influence of alcohol.”

Ritchie was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with .08% or more of blood alcohol content (misdemeanors), and for failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings (traffic violations).

Ritchie was processed, released and is now scheduled to appear in Cincinnatus town court on April 17.

Kaitlyn L. Pego

Pego, 20, of Port Jefferson, was arrested on Tuesday (April 9).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Pego allegedly stole merchandise from the Walmart store in the town of Cortlandville.

Pego was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released and is now scheduled to appear in Cortlandville town court on April 29.
