Portions of Groton Avenue are closed to heavy traffic today (April 16) with construction crews working on a couple of projects.
According to Crown City, crews will begin the installation of a new water main. The installation process will start at Groton Avenue near Main Street and work its way down the road.
Crews will also continue sanitary sewer main and lateral installation between Homer Avenue and Otter Creek. The note from Crown City Rising stated that a detour will be in effect for the entire length of the project.
“Please be mindful of work crews and follow detour signage,” the note continued.
