The Homer Trojans defeated Chittenango with a score of 5-3 on the road Tuesday afternoon. With this win, Homer improved to an overall record of 2-3.
Homer’s offense was led by Tristan Allen (2 total runs, 1 homerun, 2 hits & 2 RBI’s), Andrew Kline (1 hit & 1 RBI), Graydon Hickey (1 hit), Eli McMahon (1 hit), Mitchell Earle (1 run), Maddox Johnson (1 run), and Tyler VanEtten (1 run).
Chittenango was led by Mason Corlis (1 run & 2 hits), Drew Thomas (1 run & 1 hit), Jake Wagner (1 run), and Zailor Caras (1 hit).
Homer pitchers Tristan Allen and Maddox Johnson combined for a total of 11 strikeouts thrown from the mound. Allen threw a total of 7 strikeouts, while Johnson threw 4 strikeouts.
Chittenango’s pitchers Alex Pappas, Reagan Poland, and Ryan Thousand threw a total of 5 strikeouts in the game. Both Poland and Pappas threw 2 strikeouts each, and Thousand threw 1 strikeout.
