Dates for hearings and presentations on 2024-25 budgets have been announced by each school district within Cortland County. Each district will also have a board of education meeting the same night.
The hearing and presentation for the Cortland Enlarged City School District’s proposed budget is Tuesday (May 7) at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Kaufman Center at 1 Valley View Dr.
Homer Central School District’s hearing and presentation is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 14 at the HTEC building on South West Road.
Marathon Central School District’s budget hearing is slated for May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium on 1 Park St.
For McGraw Central School District, its hearing and presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. next Thursday (May 9) at the high school library at West Academy Street.
The Cincinnatus Central School District will have its budget hearing on May 9 at the high school library on Cincinnatus Road. The hearing and presentation will be held prior to the schools’ BOE meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The community vote on each of the school districts’ proposed budgets is Tuesday, May 21.
