Dates for hearings and presentations on 2024-25 budgets have been announced by each school district within Cortland County. Each district will also have a board of education meeting the same night.
The hearing and presentation for the Cortland Enlarged City School District’s proposed budget is today at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Kaufman Center at 1 Valley View Dr.
Homer Central School District’s hearing and presentation is scheduled for 6 p.m. next Tuesday (May 14) at the HTEC building on South West Road.
Marathon Central School District’s budget hearing is slated for Monday (May 13) at 6:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium on 1 Park St.
For McGraw Central School District, its hearing and presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. Thursday (May 9) at the high school library on West Academy Street.
The Cincinnatus Central School District will have its budget hearing on Thursday (May 9) at the high school library on Cincinnatus Road. The hearing and presentation will be held prior to the schools’ BOE meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The community vote on each of the school districts’ proposed budgets is Tuesday, May 21.
