An early morning warm front will bring a few showers and storms to the area. Most of these should be departing before 8 AM.

Once these showers move on, skies will be a mix of sun and clouds. A stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon. There is a much higher probability that it will remain dry, though.

Winds will increase through the morning, reaching speeds of 10-15 mph this afternoon coming from the west-northwest. Top gusts should be over 30 mph, but under 40 mph.

Temperatures will be mild with highs in the mid 70s. A few hilltops may stick to the low 70s.

Clouds will increase tonight as a subtle cold front drops south through the area. A few showers will accompany the front, but not everyone will see rain. Those that do should see minimal amounts.

Winds will turn northerly behind the front. The early evening hours will have temperatures in the 60s, but these will quickly drop into the 50s behind the front later in the evening.

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy overnight with temperatures bottoming out in the upper, perhaps locally mid 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Afternoon showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Friday: Cloudy with prolonged periods of showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, maybe a few spits of rain. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, a few showers. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.
