The Homer boys lacrosse squad is set to compete in this year’s Class C sectional tournament.

The Trojans (11-5) are the third seed in the Class C tourney. The team will host sixth-seeded Indian River (6-10) in the quarterfinal round at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The winner of that game will face the winner of the matchup between second-seeded South Jefferson (13-3) and seventh-seeded Whitesboro (8-8) in the semifinal round on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fayetteville-Manlius High School.

Jamesville-DeWitt (14-2), the defending Class C sectional champion, is the top seed in this year’s Class C tourney. The Red Rams were also the runner-up in last season’s Class C state championship game.
