The City of Cortland Department of Public Works is collecting yard waste this week.
The city’s yard waste collection loosely coincides with the residents’ specific trash pickup day.
Noted in the guidelines of yard waste collection, “All yard waste must be placed on the curb – not in the street. Please do not put yard waste out to be collected until the week of the scheduled collection.”
The city plans to conduct a leaf/brush pickup during the week of Oct. 14-18. City DPW will also have a long debris schedule in November.
