For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting heavy showers, mainly in the morning.

It will be mostly cloudy all day long, with showers coming mainly before the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will reach a high near 69 degrees during the day and a low around 51 degrees going into the evening.

Here is a look at next week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Partly sunny, with temperatures rising to a high near 75 degrees during the day. It will then start cloudy going into the evening with temperatures dropping to a low around 55 degrees. As there will be a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees throughout the day. There will however be a 30 percent chance of light showers after 2pm. Temperatures will decrease to about 55 degrees at night, with showers fading away before 8pm.

Wednesday: Partly sunny during the day, with there being a small 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high around 74 degrees during the day and a low around 56 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a 50 percent chance of showers all day long. Temperatures will reach a high near 72 degrees and a low around 55 degrees.

Friday: Partly sunny, with high temperatures around 71 degrees during the day. There will however be a small 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. It will start getting cloudy going into the evening, with temperatures dropping to a low around 53 degrees.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees during the day.
