A bubble of high pressure will build in behind a cold front that crossed the region overnight.

Clouds and a few stray showers will linger behind the front early this morning. The rain will be scattered at most and many areas will not see any rain.

Through the morning, sunshine will become more common and the afternoon will be a pleasant mix of sun and fair weather clouds.

Temperatures will remain warm, but will take a step back from the heat of the weekend. Look for highs in the low 80s for the northeastern part of the county, with mid 80s in Cortland and the southwest.

Northwest winds will be around 10 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Skies will be clear tonight with temperatures falling back through the 60s.
