The Cortland County Clerk is providing a valuable FREE new tool to help constituents protect their property and alert them of filings or recordings of public documents in their name.
With Fraud Alert you can sign up to receive notification whenever a public document such as a deed, mortgage, judgment, etc is recorded or filed under your name.

It is very simple to sign up for this service AND there is NO COST!
To sign up for Fraud Alert go to the Cortland County Clerk’s website at www.cortland-co.org/172/County-Clerk Look for the Fraud Alert link and follow instructions to add your e-mail and name. A verification will be sent to your e-mail.
Documents can be viewed on line (www.searchiqs.com) or at the County Clerk’s Office.
