Another area of rain will move into the region, but not until the latter half of the afternoon.

Clouds will gradually increase and thicken this morning. The best chance for sunshine will be early on today.

Rain should start to arrive sometime between 3-6 PM. The rain will quickly become steady and will fall at a moderate to heavy rate from the late afternoon into the evening.

There is a small chance for a little snow to mix in, but the vast majority of the precipitation will stay as rain.

The rain will taper off after midnight, but not before another half inch to an inch falls.

Winds will be from the south and southwest at around 5 mph throughout the day.

Temperatures will reach the mid 50s by the midday hours, but will fall back into the upper 40s as the rain moves in. By the evening, temperatures will be closer to 40, and down into the 30s by midnight.

Wednesday: Sun early and late with fair weather clouds in between. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday: Sunny with afternoon fair weather clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs near 60.
