High pressure will build into the Great Lakes, taking the place of an early morning cold front passage.

Predawn showers will come to an end before the sun is up and skies will trend sunnier as the morning goes on.

The afternoon will have a good deal of sunshine with just some small fair weather clouds mixing in.

With the cold front passing by, winds will be out of the northwest throughout the day. Wind speeds will be up to 10 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

These winds will bring in much cooler air with highs in the low to perhaps mid 70s. The air will be dry with dewpoints around 50.

The wind will slacken this evening and gradually turn to the west. Skies should be clear throughout the night.

This will allow evening temperatures to quickly drop through the 50s with an overnight low hovering around or just under 50 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower early. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs near 70.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs near 80.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs near 90.
