“We came out quite flat today,” said McGraw Head Coach Jamey Crumb. “Maybe I can blame it on the first day of school and how tired they were, but you could hear a pin drop for most of the game. We just lacked intensity and didn't have much urgency when we had the ball. We still had a lot of really good scoring opportunities and I think their physicality played a factor in us not finishing some of those, so we need to work on that. But after some halftime adjustments defensively, they never really threatened us in the second half and we controlled the ball a lot better.”
