Low pressure will track through the region today with light snow.

Much of the day will see snow once it begins early this morning. The snow will continue through the afternoon and into the early evening before tapering off.

As temperatures warm this afternoon, some rain may mix in at times.

Temperatures will be in the low 30s this morning, which will allow some minor accumulations.

Little additional accumulation is expected during the afternoon, except perhaps over a few hilltops as temperatures warm into the mid 30.

Tonight, a little more accumulation will be possible before the snow ends as temperatures fall back into the low 30s.

In all, lower elevations and urban areas will end up with a coating to around an inch. Higher terrain may see 2-3 inches.

It will be cloudy during the overnight with a few more flurries. Little to no additional accumulation is expected. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s.

Winds will be from the southeast at up to 10 mph through the early afternoon. Winds will turn more southerly, but drop in speed, for the latter parts of the afternoon.

During the evening, winds will turn to the west, then northwest. Wind speeds will remain around 5 mph.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: A few early flurries. Then, mostly cloudy until perhaps a little late sun. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.

Wednesday: Increasing and thickening clouds. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.
