Varsity Boys Basketball: Cortland vs. Jamesville-Dewitt

The Cortland Tigers lost a tough matchup against Jamesville-Dewitt Tuesday night with a score of 44-50.
With this loss, Cortland now holds a 3-3 record.
Cortland was led by Benjamin McGrath (17 points) and Emerson Johnson (10 points).
Jamesville-Dewitt was led by Anthony Stickle (20 points), Ian Delpha (12 points), and Trent Hughes (10 points).
Up next, Cortland will host Auburn on Friday (January 6th) at 6:45pm.
Varsity Boys Basketball: Marathon vs. Groton

The Marathon Olympians lost 46-57 against Groton Tuesday night.
Marathon was led by Conor Holland (29 points) and Jacob Byron (7 points).
Groton was led by Mason Slade (24 points), Kanye Israel (14 points), and Benjamin DeMatteo (11 points).
“I thought Marathon played much harder this game, but we can't expect to win games shooting 28% from the field and allowing other teams to get uncontested layups,” said Marathon Head Coach Jim Holland. “We have to put together a complete game, and that has yet to happen this year.”
Marathon is now scheduled to play at home against Newfield this Friday (January 6th) at 7:15pm.
Varsity Girls Basketball: Cortland vs. Jamesville-Dewitt

The Cortland Lady Tigers defeated Jamesville-Dewitt with a score of 47-29 at home Tuesday night in order to improve their overall record to 7-2.

Varsity Girls Basketball: Homer vs. Syracuse Academy of Science

The Homer Lady Trojans improved to an overall record of 4-6 after beating Syracuse Academy of Science with a score of 67-44.
Homer was led by Catherine Apker (32 points), Elia Spanbauer (8 points), and Kaylee Darling (7 points).
Syracuse Academy of Science was led by Antaneya Burrage (21 points) and A'Lanna Patterson (8 points).
Homer’s next game is scheduled to be played on the road against Onondaga on Thursday (January 5th) at 7pm.
Varsity Girls Basketball: Cincinnatus vs. Otselic Valley
The Cincinnatus Lady Lions won 38-28 against Otselic Valley Tuesday night.
Cincinnatus was led by Cortney Scutt (16 points) and JuShawna Crane (9 points).
Otselic Valley was led by Tori Foster (7 points) and Cassidy Will (7 points).
With this win, Cincinnatus improved to an overall record of 2-5.
Up next, Cincinnatus will play on the road against Poland on Wednesday (January 4th) at 6pm.

The Homer Lady Trojans defeated Weedsport with a team score of 7-0 Tuesday evening.
