An area of low pressure along the Mid-Atlantic coast will be too far away for any precipitation in our area, but some clouds will work their way in on the low’s edge.

The clouds will be high in the atmosphere and thin at times. Varying amounts of filtered sunlight will work through the clouds. Sometimes, though, it may just seem cloudy and gray.

Since our region is on the very edge of this system’s influence, the winds will be light and variable. Wind speeds will generally be under 5 mph. Wind directions will frequently change between northerly, easterly, and southerly.

It will be warmer than yesterday with highs reaching into the mid 40s. Evening temperatures will quickly drop to near or under 30 degrees as the clouds thin out and dissipate.

The overnight will be quiet with clear skies and a few passing clouds. Lows will reach the mid 20s with light and variable winds continuing.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: A mix of clouds and some sun. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Tuesday: Lots of sunshine. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Wednesday: Breezy and warm with a few stray rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Scattered showers, especially late. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
