Cortland-Homer ice hockey remains in top five of state rankings

The Cortland-Homer ice hockey team remained in the top five of this week’s New York State Sportswriters Association’s rankings.

The Golden Eagles, ranked fifth in Division II, cracked the top five for the second-straight week.

Other Section III Division II teams ranked in the state are Skaneateles at No. 3 and CBA/J-D tied at No. 20. Other Section III teams state-ranked are Baldwinsville at No. 9 and West Genesee at No. 10.

Cortland-Homer will host CBA/J-D in the Section III Division II semifinal round at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
