Varsity Track & Field: Marathon dual meet results vs. Dryden & Moravia

The Marathon Olympians competed in their first meet of the spring season at Dryden High School Wednesday evening.

Here are the results as well as some highlights from both Marathon boys’ and girls’ teams:

Conor Holland won 1st place in the high jump event (Result - 5’06”). He also came in 2nd place in the 110 meter hurdles (Time - 19.97) as well as in the long jump event (Result - 17’09.75”)
Andrew Edsall placed 3rd in the 1,600 meter run (Time - 5:32.90) as well as in the 800 meter run (Time - 2:35.58)
Landon Branhart came in 2nd in the 400 meter run (Time - 1:04.62). He also placed 6th in the 800 meter run (Time - 2:56.82)
Justin Baez placed 3rd in the shot put event (Result - 72’07”)

Catherine Newkirk placed 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles (Time - 21.68) as well as in the long jump event (Result - 4’04”)
Scout Morse placed 3rd in the 100 meter dash (Time - 17.09). She also came in 4th in the 100 meter hurdles (Time 23.38) and in the long jump event (Result - 12’10”).
Kennedy Eaton won 1st place in the 100 meter dash (Time - 15.96). She also came in 3rd in the 400 meter run (Time - 1:13.92) and 5th in the long jump event (Result - 12’07.05”)
Serena Eaton came in 5th place in the 100 meter dash (Time - 17.92)
Larina Cochran came in 2nd in the 3,000 meter run (Time - 15:17.42). She also placed 3rd in the 1,500 meter run (Time - 6:46.93)
Abigail Edsall came in 4th in the 1,500 meter run (Time - 6:48.81). She also came in 5th in the 400 meter run (Time - 1:20.74)
Rylee Thomas came in 3rd in the 3,000 meter run (Time - 15:28.23). She also placed 6th in the 1,500 meter run (Time - 7:06.23)
Abigail Trabucco won 1st place in the 800 meter run (Time - 3:05.75). She also placed 2nd in the 500 meter run (Time - 1:08.09)
Nora Prestigiacomo came in 2nd in the 800 meter run (Time - 3:12.34)
