Updates have been provided as construction continues in the city of Cortland this week.

According to Crown City Rising, construction crews continue to install new water and sewer laterals along Main Street, along with repairing private vaults.

Parking restrictions are in place on the west side of Main Street from Groton Avenue/Clinton Avenue to Court Street. This also includes traffic being reduced to one lane in this area.

Crown City Rising updates are also encouraging visitors and employees to take advantage of the Groton Avenue parking lot, along with available parking on Haskell Place. Additional parking is available in the Port Watson Street lot and near the Cortland firehouse.

Construction on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year
