Cortland Lady Purple Tigers celebrate senior night with a win over East Syracuse Minoa (photos included)

The Cortland Lady Purple Tigers celebrated senior night with a 13-7 win over East Syracuse Minoa Tuesday night. 

A total of nine seniors (Olivia Andreas, Hayden Bulger, Lilly Call, Gabrielle Cranfield, Ryleigh Larkin, Olivia Magin, Carola Nardini, Kortney Slavick, and Mya Willey) were celebrated at Tuesday night’s game. 

Cortland was led by Olivia Magin (4 goals & 1 assist), Valerosa Gambitta (4 goals & 1 assist), Aubree Larkin (2 goals & 1 assist), Mya Willey (1 goal), Ryleigh Larkin (1 goal), and Gabrielle Cranfield (1 goal). 

East Syracuse Minoa’s goals were scored by Mary Grace Godleski (2 goals), Andrianna Byrd (2 goals), Jaelynn Aldrich (1 goal), Morgan Purcell (1 goal), and Madison Wood (1 goal). 

Cortland goalie Hayden Bulger made 17 saves in the game, while Arianna Reed made 11 saves for East Syracuse Minoa. 

With this win, Cortland improved to an overall record of 3-8. 

Cortland will face Syracuse City on the road this Thursday (May 11th). The game is scheduled to begin at 5pm.
